Jialin Tian completed his master’s studies in Materials Chemistry at the University of Jena. During this time, he participated in two internships focused on the design of amino-functionalized agarose hydrogels for the controlled release of lignin. He subsequently completed his master’s thesis in the field of photocatalytic hydrogen production from water. He is currently conducting research at TUBAF in the area of nanoscale bio-based materials. His work is supported by a scholarship from the Saxon State Government (SAB), Germany.
